Translational One Medicine

The Translational One Medicine research group focuses on bridging the gap between medical research conducted in humans and animals. This interdisciplinary group seeks to facilitate the seamless translation of scientific discoveries from laboratory to bed-/chairside, benefiting both human and animal health. The group's objective is to enhance collaboration between veterinary and medical researchers, thereby promoting the development of innovative therapies and improving diagnostic methods for diseases that have mutual relevance, ultimately leading to a better understanding of these diseases. Translational One Medicine is instrumental in fostering a cohesive and interdisciplinary strategy for medical breakthroughs that are advantageous to a wide range of organisms.
